KANAKEE, Illinois — On Wednesday, three men were discovered shot dead inside a house in Kankakee.
Police were called to an apartment in the 600 block of West Merchant Street at 2:00 pm on Wednesday. Mayor Christopher Curtis reported the discovery of the bodies of three male victims.
Police suspect that shots were fired overnight.
The two of them were identified as Kyle Washington, 25, and Deontay Taylor, 24. Only the age of 27 could be determined for the third.
Tyler’s mother informed WGN News that she had carried out the well-being check and found the bodies in Tyler’s apartment, which was where she lived. She claimed to have last spoken to him on Tuesday at 10:30 p.m.
